How Does the Treatment Work?

Soft Tissue Laser Treatment provides a way to re-contour or remove excess gum tissue that often makes a person look like their teeth are either too small or too large. Advantages of this treatment include: no need for a numbing injection, eliminating pain, patients heal more quickly, there is less inflammation and the process is far more comfortable than other solutions. The use of the laser also seals the nerve endings and eliminates bleeding.

This process can also help with the issue of impacted teeth, which is a common problem amongst teens referred to as impacted wisdom teeth. Impacted teeth can cause infections and even the misalignment of the jaw if left untreated. The use of lasers can provide a way for the teeth to still grow as they should into the mouth. In most cases, the procedure will be followed up with correction in the alignment of the teeth.
